Unauthorised payment of 300 Euro
-
Dear,
I was just charged 300 Euro for an automatic payment for Business Plan. This is incorrect as I had cancelled my business plan and the plan is Free. I also unchecked the automatic payment thus the payment is unauthorised. I submitted a dispute on PayPal and send WordPress a request for refund.
I have been trying to get a hold of Word Press Customer Service without luck.
I kindly request that you proceed to refunding the unauthorised 300 Euro.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi Nadja –
Sure thing. We can cancel that and process a refund. In order to that the payment dispute needs to be cancelled. You’ll need to call the bank and ask them to cancel it. Otherwise, the refund will take much longer to process through those channels, sever months. If we can get the dispute cancelled and process it from our side it should reach you in less than 10 days.

Thanks for your reply. I just marked the case closed with PayPal so it no longer appears in the dispute centre. I kindly ask you to process it from your side and refund the 300 Euro. One of your colleagues also confirmed that the the site plan was free and this was an error. Many thanks for your help in rectifying this. I would be grateful if you can confirm the refund has taken place at (email visible only to moderators and staff).

The refund has been processed. The money goes back the same way that it came to us. So if you used that PayPal account then that’s where it would go back to.
