Unauthorized Bank Charge

Hi,
A few weeks ago I started the trial period and got charged prematurely (post: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/private-support/unauthorised-bank-charge?replies=2#post-1710053)
The charge was refunded, however I was not aware that the trial would continue through and lead to me being charged again. I did not wish to do this and need the charge to be refunded again.

Provided you are referring to a WordPress.com hosted blog, and are logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog go to > Store > My Upgrades and click the “disable auto-renew” link.
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
Dashboard > Store > Billing HistoryIf you wish to contact Staff about the charges you see on your statement, please use this form (which works even when the main contact form is closed):

Leave the tag – the private support link should give the staff enough info to chase down the charge even if the OP does not post the account / blog URL in question

In your previous ticket, my colleague Jeremy let you keep the Premium bundle for another 30 days, during which you may decide to keep using it or not.
If, for any reason, you aren’t happy with the bundle, I’d be glad to cancel it for you and issue a refund for the recent charge. Please note, however, that the custom domain “jamieheawood.com” was included in the bundle and will be canceled along with it. Would you like to keep the domain and receive a partial refund? Please bear in mind that canceled domains are very difficult to get back.

I have just had a very similar thing happy. Signed up for a trial, and today have a charge for £70 which is not what i wanted – as i have now installed wodpress.org on my own server. I was actually looking at closing my wordpress.com account.

I’ve just cancelled the Premium upgrade and issued you a refund totalling £70. Please expect the funds to reappear in your bank statement after a few days.

We don’t allow users to delete their WordPress.com accounts, but you may delete your blogs.
