unauthorized charge from wpchrg.com on my credit card statement

Hi there, my credit card statement has shown that there is a bill from WPCHRG for 97.66€ On October 14. It seems this is the charge from wordpress.com but I did not upgrade for anything since I cancelled the WordPress premium plan, you can see that there’s nothing going on this website since almost 2 years now. I would like the credit card removed from the account and the 97.66€ refunded.

Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. If you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

I’m not able to find a charge matching the date you’ve mentioned on this account. You can enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ to find out what account this charge came from.
