Unauthorized Charges

  Hello! I deleted my wordpress account years ago for a photography site I no longer use. I verified several times with wordpress over the phone that the account was deleted, that there would be no autorenew, and no further charges. On 8/14/20, wordpress charged my account for what I’m assuming was an autorenew of the website. I would like to get a refund and make sure that the account is now fully deleted so there will be no further charges. However, I have no access to the account since the site was deleted. I don’t know how to proceed with getting answers since there is no phone support. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  We do not have support via telephone. It’s all through online channels. Whomever you spoke with is not associated with WordPress.com.

  The account that you’ve used to contact us has never made any purchases or been charged. If this charge is from WordPress.com then it’s under a different account.
