unauthorized credit card charge
-
Our organization’s credit card was recently charged even though we do not regularly use WordPress.com. Our old blog was housed there, but it’s now defunct. The credit card is in the name of a staffperson who doesn’t have a WordPress.com account herself. We would like to see if we can get a refund, and if possible cancel whatever caused the charge. Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What are the specifics please?
Which username account and site URL does this relate to?
To address any and all billing issues like this one we can click https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and we can also use this form (which works even when the main contact form is closed): http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?whywasi=charged

hogg.utexas.edu is hosted by University of Texas at Austin
IP Address: 128.83.21.174
Name Servers:
chisos.ots.utexas.edu
glass.its.utexas.eduUnfortunately, you failed to provide any details. Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

Howdy ikeevans –
I wanted to let you know that there are not any upgrades or charges associated to the account that you have contacted us from.
Please enter the charge details at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ for more information.

That’s the problem. We don’t know what username account this is linked to. Mine isn’t showing anything. My best guess is that it’s related to hoggblogdotcom.wordpress.com, but I’m not sure.

Ok thank you. Please note which account it took you to as there is not a history of charges to this account that you are posting from in the forums.
