Unauthorized HuffPost Article Duplication on ghost WordPress site
-
Hello,
There is an Unauthorized HuffPost Article Duplication on ghost WordPress site call CarStarGuelph that replicated my HuffPost article that I wrote and pasted the whole thing onto their site without my permission. Asking to please have my article taken off of their wordpress site since there is no way of contacting them directly. There is a registered local business in Guelph (here in Canada) called CarStar (an autobody chain) whom I just spoke to on the phone and they have no idea who is using their name for that wordpress blog that has taken my article, along with haven taken their name.
The article I would please ask to have removed because I am the author and IP owner is: https://carstarguelph.wordpress.com/2017/02/24/legacy-dynasty-and-history-as-a-black-canadian/
The real CarStarGuelph company is at [phone # redacted]

Hi @thestylejet324361848, the site you reference is not hosted here at WordPress.com, it is a self-hosted WordPress site on a different hosting service, so we can’t help you with that. If your article was solicited by Huffington Post, they should handle things like that and I would contact them to see if they will.
If not, there are a good variety of resources available on the web for “DMCA notification” procedures to help you with this: https://www.google.com/search?q=filing+a+DMCA+notice&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1-ab
Best of luck.
