Unauthorized payment on my credit card – how can I contact staff?

    Hi

    There was a charge of USD 13 on my credit card.

    I have checked the billing section in my account. No credit card info, last invoice was back in 2014, then I stopped any subscriptions.

    Who can help me finding out what this is for? Is there staff that can be contacted at the finance dept. of WordPress.com?

    The charge was definitely not for this account – we don’t even have stored payment details on file for you.

    The only upgrade that costs $13 is domain mapping. Do you perhaps have another site in a different account where you connected a domain?

    If you’re not sure, please go to wpchrg.com and try looking for the transaction by providing your information on the form there. If you can’t find it, you can also contact our payments team directly via the form on that site, then they can get additional details from you privately – we shouldn’t post details like that here in the public forum :)

    Thank you for answering. No, I do not have another account.

    Entering the transaction details in the form did not give any results. I just contacted the payments team, thank you for mentioning this.

  • I see our payments team have replied to you already. Just to repeat, that charge is for a domain mapping upgrade on the site, celebrationofyou.wordpress.com, belonging to the username, celebrationofyou.

    If you’ve forgotten about that account, and can’t remember how to log into it, or if that isn’t your site and account, please reply to that email and we’ll help you sort it out there – we can’t help with account access issues in the forums as it requires sharing information which should be kept private.
