Unauthorized photos posted on WordPress-powered site

    Dear WordPress,
    I have found a page that features unauthorized photos of me, which I would like to have removed.

    I have tried contacting the webmaster for over 1,5 years now without any success and have even taken on the help of internet lawyers to have the content removed.

    The photos were published by a photographer who did not have my consent. The photographer has refused to help me get in touch with the site since he is afraid of ruining his relationship which the site owner.

    How do I proceed? I don’t have any official proof that the photos are mine since they were taken in an unofficial situation.

    WordPress.com Terms of Service Staff have authority to act only when copyright infringement on a site hosted by wordpress.com is in evidence and has been reported to them by way of a DMCA notice. https://en.support.wordpress.com/our-dmca-process/

    Complaints like this one are not dealt with here on the public support forums. Only Terms of Service Staff have authority in such cases and their authority applies to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM, not to any others.
