unauthorized uploads to media library

  Hi,

  I am getting sporadic advertising uploads to my media library. While this is worrisome, what is weird is that there is no link or info about the “company” doing this. How can I stop this illicit access to my WordPress site?

  We take security very seriously and want to make sure this gets handled properly. Hacking is very rare and prevented using strong passwords coupled with two step authentication. I would recommend checking the login you use with your host to make sure that you change your password and check that two step authentication is turned on.
