Unauthorized Website Changes

My entire site has been altered without my consent and it’s taking me hours to fix this. I lost out on $1,000+ project because my site was a mess when it was viewed. The site itself seemed to have converted back to content from 2021. I also received an email that I was no longer under a business plan but I was never under a business plan to begin with. I have always had a free plan and used the free features just fine.

I tried to use the chat support but I’m not getting an answer back and when I emailed support they were useless as well as they told me that what I was seeing on my end was not present what so ever, that my site was fine and it’s not.

Can someone help me or at least point me in the direction to where I can speak with an actual human directly about this. Like I said this has cost me money.

HTML coding is now broken across my site overall. Images are missing. Thumbnails are not showing at all. Forms are missing or altered all together. I need some assistance here immediately as this is my business and I need my website back to where it was just 24-48 hours ago.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As you have a custum domain, there is no way round but you were on a paid plan. You can check this yourself at https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

Having a custom domain is not a business plan what are you talking about? I have NOT had a business plan what so ever and you can clearly see this from my purchase history over the last 10 years.

Then you’re limiting how many photos I can upload and the free plan has unlimited bandwidth, please make all of this make sense right now??

You must have a paid plan of some kind to have registered your custom domain here at WordPress.com.

If you have indeed been downgraded to a free plan (and have more than 3GB of images) then you won’t be able to add any further images. The amount of WORDS you can have with a free site is unlimited.

I seriously did not have a paid plan at all. I have a custom domain under a free plan as it has been that way for the last couple years. If I could place a screenshot here I would to show this but again limitations have been placed as to how mayn images I can upload now.

There is no record of me having a paid plan. I’m being told I had one in 2019 but I was not using WordPress fully in 2019, my full site was with another company.

There are also no billing activity that would account for me having a paid plan at all right along with no payments being made on a regular basis that would account for this.

Regardless, the things that have been changed on my site do not make sense. HTML Coding has always been available to use on WordPress so I’m not understanding why every single HTML element block is now broken completely and will not allow me to place the coding back into place. All of my layouts are messed up. Banners are missing completely that were already uploaded into the system from the start.

It would be very helpful to be able to speak with an actual human on the phone vs all these chats and forums, is there a phone number I can call to address this matter?

    wordpress.com doesn’t have phone support – https://wordpress.com/support/help-support-options/?_gl=1*8uy9l9*_gcl_au*MTUxNTM3MDM4My4xNzY5MTAyMzYw#phone-support
