Unauthrizerd user requested pass word reset

    I received notification through my (email visible only to moderators and staff) account that Karen Ingle had requested PW reset. She has not been in our employment for 5 years. No one other than myself should be an authorized user.

    Of what site are you speaking? The account you’re using to post here was only created yesterday and doesn’t own any sites with us.

    On WordPress.com one signs up for a username account first, and then that account is added to a site. If any user on a site requested a password reset for their personal username account, no other users on the site would receive any notification of that, so it doesn’t sound like you’re speaking of a WordPress.com site.

    Instead, it sounds like you’re speaking of a stand-alone WordPress site that has user accounts created on the site level, and it sounds like this person’s account was never deleted from the site when she left the organisation.

    Any existing admin on the site should be able to remove that account by going to WP-Admin ->Users ->All Users. We’re not able to help with this, though, as we don’t have any access to the dashboards or user accounts of sites that aren’t hosted on our servers.
