Unavailable name

    Hello,
    I have a name I would like to use for my page/blog. Unfortunately it seems to be already in use, even if no page exists. when I try to create it, the URL is recommended with a long number after the name.

    Since the name is actually not being used, how can I get it? I promise I will use it.

    Hi there!

    I’m afraid it’s not possible to use an address that’s reserved or deleted. You can try a combination of that address and a number, or try a similar one.

    Also, bear in mind that, once you register a custom domain, nobody will see the free address anymore:

    https://wordpress.com/support/domains/.

    Custom domains are free for the first year with any of our paid plans.
