unblock images on blog?

I have hit the block images button. How can I undo this faux pas?

I didn’t even know we had such a button on our blogs. Where exactly is it located on yours?

It showed up somewhere in my uploads. I uploaded a pic and decided I did not want it. Saw the button block images from blog and that’s when it all went crazy. Now the button has vanished and there is no where to undo this. I am a little IT challenged can you guess?

Volunteers on the forum do not have back-end access and it sounds like you need staff to sort this. Send in a feedback to staff and take a few very deep breaths.

The button was in the Manage Upload section. Thanks for your support. I was so excited to work on this blog. Guess now is not the time.

Okay I retraced my steps and when I was in Manage uploads and I clicked on the uploaded image, in the window box was “Block images “. I have uploaded an image which shows a blue square No image and when I click on the image, there no longer is a choice to reverse my step.

Where there is a will there is a way. I did it! Yahoo! If you don’t succeed, try and try again. Persistence will get you there.

Gotta admit that I have never seen a ‘Block Image’ mention either. Could you please provide a screen cap of this for us please?

I have this exact same problem. I thought I was deleting an image when I hit Block Image and now there is nothing to click on to reverse the error. All I have is a blue square where there used to be an image. I can use them and link them to files, but cannot see what they are in my dashboard. Ourillumination, how did you reverse it?

I’m not so sure it was a button because this happened two days ago and is not totally fresh in my mind, but something, (maybe a pop up of some kind which would lead me to think it might be Firefox related?) showed up right in the lower right side of the screen when browsing my images. It was right near the upload button. The reason I have felt it was wordpress related, however, is it instantly blocked the thumbnail images I have already uploaded, but they are still visible on my published pages. If Firefox blocked them, then wouldn’t it have blocked the final product as well? Also, since this happened, if I am writing in visual mode, I can only see a small blue outline for where the image would be. In code mode, of course I see the html instead. Before I hit “block images” when I put an image in while typing in visual mode I could see the whole photo…now just the blue outline.
I truly thought I was going crazy until I saw that others have had the same problem.

Sorry about that. I noticed when I finally found the first one, that it was a year old and didn’t realize it would bump to the top of the screen until I had already sent the second one. My apologies.
