Unblocking blog's name

  Hello, I was about to register another blog and found a name for it, which doesn’t exist but it comes up with ‘The authors have deleted this blog.’ Is it possible to free it up as it’s no longer in use or will it remain blocked??

  There is no recycling of deleted blog URLS here at wordpress.com.

  You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  Or you can purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade as in that case it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
