"Un"cancelling my domain name cancellation?

    I bought a domain name from WordPress.com, but later I realized that I was supposed to be using WordPress.org for my blog (because I wanted to install my own theme I have), so I canceled and refunded my domain name. I had no idea I would not be able to get it back somewhere else. I would rather buy it from here and at least have the proper name than never be able to get it back. Is there any way I can buy my domain name from here again? (Essentially, “un”cancelling by cancellation?) Thank you very much.

    Your domain, willbakeforbooks.com is once again available to the public for purchase. When domains are cancelled this quickly after they are registered, it often takes about a week for them to be come available again. Here’s a public search for that domain’s availability:

    If you’d like to setup a WordPress.org site with this domain, I’d recommend you purchase the domain through your preferred hosting provider.
