'Uncategorized' at the top of blog?

  Hi. In my Isca theme, both my iPad and mobile device show ‘uncategorized’ at the top of the blog. How do I remove this please? Thank you.

  Hi there – It looks like your theme automatically shows category pages in a menu across the top. For example, if you were to add all your posts on food to the Food category, then when someone clicked on the Food menu tab at the top of your site there, they’d see all those posts. Currently, you aren’t using any categories, so all your posts are in the Uncategorized category.

  I’ve removed it for you for now by adding a blank custom menu here:

  Hello! Thanks for the reply. That looks better but now on my mobile site, my menu is gone…are they related? If so, please reinstate so my visitors can see my drop down menu on their mobile versions? Thank you.

  Hi there – Ok, I’ve fixed that. I added your menu as a Custom Menu so it now shows on your mobile site again:

  Note that you have two menus there, and you can toggle between them using the dropdown menu at the top of that screen. The “Main Menu (Sub Navigation)” is the menu that you are using. The “Category Menu (Main Navigation)” is the menu that appears above your header, and is meant to display category pages by default. It’s currently blank, since you’re not using that menu.

  To add items to either menu, or rearrange them, etc., we have a full guide here:

  Custom menus are good because they give you more control over how your menus appear than the default menus. Let me know if you need further help with this!
