Uncheck "show header text with image" = break up of menu bar links?

  Here’s a weird one for you! You know the box “show header text with image” in the header category? Well…

  Here’s the top of the webpage when the box is checked:

  Here’s the top of the webpage when the box is unchecked:

  Note the menu options are now on 2 lines instead of one – most illogical! I’ve flipped it back and forth a couple of times, so I’m certain that nothing else is changing. What we have here is a bug. Any suggestions for a remedy?

  (Also while I’m at it can anyone tell me how to get rid of the white bar at the very top?)
