Unclickable menu

  • Unknown's avatar

I was wondering how to make a part of the menu of my website a menu, but not a clickable link. It says Meny there and that means menu, I want to have it so that you can choose what part of the menu you want to look at. I want it to be so that you can choose Pizza, Grill etc. from the menu but not click it. Thanks in advance.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there fehzan0704,

It sounds like you’d like to turn part of your menu into a dropdown list. In order to do this, you need to create menu items for everything you’d like to go under the “Meny” item, then attach them to it.

To do this go to your Customizer and click Primary → + Add Items → Pages. Here you’ll be able to create pages and corresponding menu items such as Pizza, Grill, etc. Once that’s done, go to the sidebar all the way to the left, and subordinate each new item to the “Meny” item by dragging them under it.

Once those steps are completed you’ll have individual pages for your new menu items that you can then fill with information.

Let me know if you have more questions!

    Good luck,
    Travis

    One last thing!

In your menu settings, you should be given the option to assign a URL to each individual item. If you do not want the “Meny” item to be a clickable link, just make sure that URL box is left blank.

That should answer the rest of your question. If you have anything else then feel free let me know.

Hi @fehzan0704, it looks like you have gotten this accomplished. If you need further help with this, or if I misunderstood, please let me know.
