Under construction as landing page (or insert a JPeg)

    Hi,

    I would like to add an image (and nothing else) in my landing page (kind of under construction thing, till I decide how I would like to build my website). How can I do it? Do I need CSS for that? Which one is the home page to edit and how I can delete everything else appearing there?

    Hi there!

    By default, your site is currently showing a listing of all available blog posts. To put a custom message or image on the front of your site, you’ll first want to set up a Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page).

    Then, on that page, you can add any text or images you like.

    For the other items on the page, CSS would make it a little easier to hide things like widgets and menus on the home page, while leaving them up on the other pages you’re working on.

    Without CSS access, you could try changing the Widget Visibility settings, and putting up an empty menu, until you’re ready to display a real menu :)
