Under Construction – How do I delete this?
-
When readers log onto my site, it says Under Construction on the tab at the top. (not on the body of the blog) How do I get rid of this and replace it with what I want?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you talking about the blog linked by your username here in the forums? If not we need a link to the blog in question.

Thanks for trying to help. I’m stumped. I looked at the settings and can’t figure out what to do.

At this address, http://www.traveltidbitsbypat.com/ , I see your wordpress.com blog. I did a “whois” on your domain and it appears as if you might have just did the mapping in the last few hours or so. A DNS change takes anywhere from 24 to 72 hours to propagate through all the internet nameservers. Since I’m seeing your blog, the propagation is well underway. Just give it some time, and remember that when you check back, force refresh the URL and/or clear your browser cache so that you aren’t looking at a cached page.
The “under construction” in the browser title bar will go away in a while as well.

Thank you. I changed a few things earlier today, so perhaps I did what I needed to do by accident. Appreciate your time!

@youngsingersofpa- Ah, now I see what you mean. The reason we couldn’t see it before was because we were looking at the yourusername.wordpress.com blog linked to your name and not your mapped domain.
@tsp-honestly, any mapped domain I’ve seen has never had this “under construction” in the title bar. Where would that be coming from? And to make things even odder, on her wordpress.com blog, when I right click on the page, I get “view page source”. on her mapped domain, I get “view frame source”. (Using Chrome this morning.)

@Jennifer, good detective work. The domain isn’t mapped. What is being done, is that the blog is being displayed in a frame probably at her registrar, namesdirect. The reason “under construction” is showing is that that is the name that was set in the HTML page with the frame at her registrar.
Here are the reported domain servers:
NS1.MYDOMAIN.COM
NS2.MYDOMAIN.COM
NS3.MYDOMAIN.COM
NS4.MYDOMAIN.COM@youngsingerofpa, did you buy and apply the domain mapping upgrade here at wordpress.COM? You need to look this support document over.
