"Under Construction" page

  Is it possible to generate a single page without a navigation menu? I want to put up a static page as the front of my website while I’m working on it, an “Under Construction” page which contains no links to other content.

  I know you can select any page to have as the website front, but I can’t work out whether or not you can get rid of the menu for a single page.

  You cannot disable the menu for a particular page. If you would like to make your site not visible to other viewers, you can make the entire site private:

  Navigate to Settings -> Reading and set Site Visibility to: “I would like my site to be private, visible only to users I choose.”
