  Please able words appear underlined. Adding u button in Write page would be excellent.

  Doubt this will happen as it is not a popular tag with web standards people. You could always switch to the old-style editor and add the <u> tags to posts yourself. They might get stripped out, but you never know until you try.

  Well…that <u> thing underlined the whole sentence…i need to underline a “word”…

  OK underline just the word, use the closing tag.

  <u>word</u>

  That should work if WP doesn’t strip it out.
