Understanding blue host/WordPress difference

    I was told from WordPress support previously, that I dont have my domain with them, but with Bluehost. I’m so overwhelmed with the entire process and resist learning bc of it. Can someone help me understand (in super non computer layman’s terms) what the difference is and who my domain is actually through? I would like to transfer strictly to WordPress….I think(?)
