Understanding pages linked in the footer
-
I am new to managing my website on WordPress, using Elementor Pro. At the bottom of my website, in the footer and on all of the pages, the previous owner added links to the locations we serve. Each link goes out to an individual page that is tied to that specific city. As far as I can tell it is a copy/paste of the same language, but a different picture. I’m trying to understand in the background the purpose of these pages and how are they used. Is it just to link to the city/town if you are interested? Is there something working behind the scenes that is tied to search engines etc. I don’t know enough to know if I break the link or turn off those pages if I am going to corrupt anything anywhere else. Help is appreciated. You can see what I am talking about when you go to the website and scroll to the bottom. Thank you!
