Understanding Server Config Requirements For WordPress
-
The website in question is self-hosted, so please point me to the right place if needed.
The admins of the servers that host my WordPress websites are requesting information about the server configuration requirements for WordPress.
We have been experiencing outages, a few times a week since July 1st. In the recent week, the outages have been occurring just about daily. The outages all happen at the same time of day. The server admins restart the httpd service to get the websites back up and running.
The server admins have attempted to adjust the ServerLimit, MaxRequestWorkers, MaxSpareThreads, MaxRequestsPerChild on theApache MPM module on the servers, as it was believed to be an issue with the load on the servers.
Our websites are currently running 5.8.3 of WordPress
Please and Thank you.

We can’t help with self-hosted sites. A hosting provider that doesn’t know the server settings for wordpress.org isn’t very reliable. Every good hosting provider offers hosting for wordpress sites.

Also note 5.8.3 is completely outdate. We are almost 20 version further with version 6.6 1
