Understanding Stats

  I’ve been following my stats on my dashboard and I’m a little confused. Under Top Posts, it has a number of views for some posts. I thought that this measured the total number of views for a post, but I’ve noticed the number go down. If it’s the total number of views, why does it go down sometimes? Also, I don’t think it’s the number of views per day because it seems way too high.

  The Top Posts number is (or should be) the cumulative total. The Most Active number does go down sometimes, however, because that’s only for a limited period of time.
