Understanding the Search Engine Terms data
-
Here’s a quick question. Do the “search engine terms” that are listed on my stats view reflect a human being clicking on a link and finding my blog because they are interested?
Or could it also reflect the search engine going out, finding my page, and delivering it to a user who then never even clicks on my page because their eye gets caught by a different or higher-relevance link?
This is the page I was looking at that did not quite help answer this question. Thanks!
http://en.support.wordpress.com/stats/#search-engine-terms is helpful but does not explicitly say one way or the other.

The search engine terms were the result of someone finding your site by searching on the term. The user would have clicked on your site, if only briefly, to be registered as a hit.
