Understanding What Happens With WordPress.com Followers After Transfer to Self-Hosted Site

I recently transferred all of my subscribers (email subscribers and those who chose to ‘follow’ through WordPress.com) from claresawrites.wordpress.com to claresa.net. Then I purchased a new domain and transferred them from claresa.net to findinginspiration.net. My ultimate plan is to stop using Jetpack for email subscriptions and delete the WordPress.com site. But now I am so confused about how the ‘followers’ from WordPress.com are affected by the transfers…where I can still communicate with them…and whether they will still be able to see posts on my new site if Jetpack subscriptions are deactivated (so the email subscribers won’t get duplicate posts) or I go ahead and delete my old site. Also, is there any way to make those WordPress ‘followers’ email subscribers?
