Understanding your prices and a better breakdown of what you offer

I need help understanding your prices. When you will charge, etc. I was told by one of your existing customers something totally different than what I am presently seeing now. I own my own domain name. I want to use wordpress for blogging and hosting. I desire to speak with someone over the phone, but I keep getting directed elsewhere. If you have a phone number please give it to me.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

There is no phone support, but hopefully I can answer your questions.

This is the current pricing on WordPressdotcom with a list of the features available in each tier: https://wordpress.com/pricing/ The prices are listed per month, but are charged annually and must be renewed annually.

There are no individual upgrades available, so if you wish to map the domain name you own to a WordPressdotcom site, you will need to purchase at least a Premium bundle. (This is a change that happened fairly recently.)

In order to understand better the differences between what you can do on a WordPressdotcom site versus hosting your own install of the standalone WP software, you’ll want to read this support doc https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Let us know if you have any further questions about any of that.
