Undesired border around pictures in Neat! Theme
-
I am using the Neat! theme for my blog http://daronn.wordpress.com
I added two pics with links to the sidebar by using the text widget. One for Twitter, one for RSS-Feed. Unfortunately the Twitter pic is without border (as wanted), but the RSS icon still has that ugly border.
I used the following source code:
What am I doing wrong? How can I remove the border around the second icon?
Thnx for the support.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m seeing a blue border on the RSS icon next to the “follow me” image. Is that the one you are talking about? If so, I’m not seeing the style=”border:0;” in the source code.

The following should take the border off for you. I added style=”border: 0pt none ;” to the img src section like you had done with the other icon:
<a rel="alternate" title="Meinen Feed abonnieren" href="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/daRONN"> <img alt="" style="border: 0pt none ;" src="http://www.feedburner.com/fb/images/pub/feed-icon32x32.png"/> </a> -
Actually use this (you had a space between none and the semicolon in yours – sometimes it makes a difference):
<a rel="alternate" title="Meinen Feed abonnieren" href="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/daRONN"> <img alt="" style="border: 0pt none;" src="http://www.feedburner.com/fb/images/pub/feed-icon32x32.png"/> </a> -
Thank you so far.
This is how it looks actually:
<a href="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/daRONN" title="RSS Feed" rel="alternate"><img src="http://www.feedburner.com/fb/images/pub/feed-icon32x32.png" style="border: 0pt none;" alt="Feed abonnieren"></a><br /><br /> <a href="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/daRONN" rel="alternate"><img src="http://feeds2.feedburner.com/~fc/daRONN" height="26" width="88" style="border: 0pt none;" alt="" /></a>But there is still the blue border around the RSS icon.

I notice your rss graphic is a png but your twitter graphic is a jpg. Have you tried using the rss as a jpg? (I also see from looking at your css that the rss image but not the twitter is adding your links color.)
