Undo categories converter

Hi all, I tried to convert my categories to tags, and am now regretting my action. I figure it is still better to have my categories, and then add tags for my posts if necessary. So is there anyway to undo what i did? Convert my tags back to my categories? Also, the “tags cloud” widget is not displaying all the tags that I have. Only 2 of them. How do I go about this?

It doesn’t matter whether you use categories or tags, they function in exactly the same way. The only real difference is that you can have sub-categories but not sub-tags. I don’t know of any way to revert tags to categories without editing each entry manually, so if I were you I’d just stick with tags and forget about categories.
As for the widget, it may be a caching issue. It can take a while for your sidebar to catch up with reality. If it persists, contact support.
