How can I undo a theme change I made accidentally when I was previewing other themes for my site.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no “undo” button but if you re-activate your previous theme all your posts, pages, menus, etc will remain intact. The only thing you might need to check is that your widgets are all in the right place as different themes have different widget areas, some might have been deactivated but all you’ll need to do is drag them back to where they were previously.

and alas I’ve got no idea what my theme was called. Is there something like an activity register or something that will somewhere note; changed theme from X to Y?

If you remember the features it had you can “Find a theme” in the theme showcase and check the results to see if any look like the one!

I’ve already wasted 3 hrs looking for it in themes. How hard would it have been to put an “undo” button, WordPress? The directions are rather misleading too I feel. By the time you realise you’ve activated the new theme rather than just seeing what the changes look like it’s too late.

The person who mentioned SuperTasker has been spamming a whole load of posts in this form with the same message so I’m not sure how useful it will be to you. I’ll ask staff to take a look, maybe they have some way of seeing previous states of your site that volunteers can’t, fingers crossed!

When did you create your blog? If you created it this year, the original theme was Twenty Fourteen.
