unexpected error when trying to make new blocks

Hi There,
For the last couple of days, I have been receiving an error message whenever I click on the plus icon with the blocks to change the style for my recent blog post I am working on.
The error message reads: “The editor has encountered an unexpected error.” with three options to click on “Attempt Recovery” “Copy Post Text” and “Copy Error”. However, there seems to be no response when I attempt to click on any of these options. I have also not located anywhere in settings, at least on my own devices, how I can fix this issue so I am reaching out here in the hopes that someone can help me get my site back up and running and I can make posts again!

Can you walk me through what it is about the block you are trying to edit?
- Is it an issue with the Blog Posts block on your homepage, or your blog page?
Or is it an issue that you have on both pages? - What is the specific change you are trying to makes, so we can retrace your steps and see if we get the same error message?
- Are you able to make other changes? i.e. you can edit the block, but it’s when you attempt to make a specific change to it that you get the error message?

I will do my best!
When I go to start a new post, the page opens up like always and I can write the title and start writing paragraphs. The problem and error message is happening when I try to change the type of block (say to an image or a gallery).

So this happens when you try to change an existing block, not when you insert a new block? Or does it happen when trying to select a new block as well?
Please try the following for me:
1) Log out of your account.
2) Delete all WordPress.com cookies in your browser, and clear your browser cache (https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/)
3) Log back inIf it still happens after you’ve completed those steps, see if disabling any browser add-ons you have installed helps, or if using a completely different browser does.

I tried the above options and I was able to add a new paragraph on a test run, and then the error message started coming back up when I tried to add a new paragraph or edit existing paragraph blocks.

I deleted the cookies, cleared all browsing history, and still am seeing the issue. I believe I disabled the browser extensions as well. I don’t know if it is any help, but I copied the error message and have pasted it below. Thanks for your help!

Do you have access to another computer or device you can check on?
Are you using a content-filtering DNS service, like NextDNS or a PiHole?
