Unexplained blog changes – Images moved and resized
-
I have two wordpress blogs. In the past week, I did not even logged on my wordpress account, yet all my blog images were resized in a unreadable size, and moved on the left side of the screen. Quite bizarre and unpleasant.
I my blog edit, though, nothing changed, and the images still show to have, for exemple, a 550 pixels width. If I try to center my images, it does not work either.
Both of my blogs had the same problem, and I sure tried it with multiple browsers, clearing the cache, cookies and everything.

Hi @jeanthom, sorry for the troubles with the image resizing!
If you go to Settings > Media and make sure the sizes are set correctly for how big you want the images to be, that should fix any problems for you.
If you still have questions after you’ve checked your Settings > Media page, let me know!

Thanks. The resizing worked perfectly.
For yngblr.wordpress.com, everything is back to normal.
Yet, with hiboufemmedevientfemme, I still have problems centering the images as it was before. The best I can do is to align content on the right, which does center it as well as it was before. Here is an exemple.

Centering hasn’t changed, and it should be working normally as long as you select centering when the image is inserted.
Here are some normal steps you can use to center an image if you have already inserted it in a post:
1. Open the post for editing, i.e. https://hiboufemmedevientfemme.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=228&action=edit
2. Click the image
3. Click the Edit Image button that appears
4. Select the “Center” option in the settings
5. Click the Update button
6. Save the post -
Again, something changed and I can’t put my blog back the way it was.
When I center content, or even when I align it on the right, it still leaves an unusable blank space on the right side of the screen. I just want my content to be perfectly centered as it was just a few days ago.
Exemple of images centered as indicated.
Exemple of a post where all images are aligned to the right. Is it possible that the Ryu template changed, not allowing me to center my stuff anymore? What is this white space that appeared on the right? It blocks me from disposing of my content as I want.
Thanks again

I checked this post:

https://cloudup.com/cEApFVsEPLQIs it possible that the Ryu template changed, not allowing me to center my stuff anymore?
I reviewed recent updates for Ryu, and no recent changes have been made to the spacing or how centering works.
What is this white space that appeared on the right?
I think you may be looking at the site in a larger screen resolution compared to before, and the white space that you’re seeing is a normal part of the theme design on very large screens?
What are your screen resolution settings?
