Unexplained charges

  I have no sites on WordPress, though considered it once – but i now realise i’ve been charged £255 on April 23rd of this year for NO service!! Possibly i was charged the same last year – but haven’t had a chance to look back at my statements yet…
  please advise asap as i have no need of WordPress and didn’t realise i had an account

  As this is a new account you created today the charge must relate to a different account/site. You can check if the charge came from WordPress.com (though you may well be outside the refund window) at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ There is a contact form there too.

  We can certainly provide more answers once we know which account has been charged. As themagicrobot mentioned the account you’ve signed in to use here is brand new. I’ve reviewed the account just to be thorough, but there are no charges associated with it.

  – Do you know what site is attached to the charge?
  – Have you checked all of your email addresses for our correspondence?

  We do send out an email notification 30 days before the charge is processed. If you’re not able to find the details mentioned then I’d suggest that you check this site with the payment details. https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/
