Unfollow a private site

    Hi,
    One of the blogs I follow has become a private site, but I have no idea which one it is. Whenever the blog posts a new post I get this message in my reader: ‘Oops! This is a post on a private site that you’re following, but not currently a member of. Please request membership to display these posts in Reader.’ But there are no clues as to the name of the site.
    How can I request membership or unfollow the site if I have no idea which blog it is?

    Good question! I’ve never seen that message myself!

    Based on the way you phrased your question, I assume there’s no post title to click on, but is there maybe a link to the site specific view just above the message? Maybe a link that looks like this one? https://wordpress.com/read/feeds/399135

    I checked your feed and I don’t see any “oops” message right now. If you can’t find a surrounding link next time it pops up again, reply back here (or make a new forum post) and ask someone to check on it again so we can see the problem happening live.
