  While importing my Blogger.com weblog, the connection to Blogger.com was interrupted. The WordPress importer not only corrupted my Blogger template and didn’t restore it with an error catch (basic programming 101), but damaged the formatting of most of my current posts ANDdestroyed two years of archives! They’re gone! Even with backups, which I mercifully have, it will take days to put everything back. Thanks loads….

  You must not have followed the instructions as it mentions that the template will be changed and that you need to make a copy of it. Simple reading skills 101. Also, since the importer doesn’t delete posts from blogger, it just reads them, I highly doubt that they’re been deleted as you say they have.

  Oh wait, I forgot. In the other thread, you’re blaming wordpress for your computer problems.

  And yet I see that the blog is still there with posts dating right back to January 2005.

  If you’ve moved from Bloggy then why worry about the blogger blog anyway?
