Unformatted text since today when copying and pasting from WP

    Hi,

    I’m assuming this is to do with the iOS update and/or Aztec Editor. Every week day I post at least once on wordpress and then copy and paste the text onto other forums.

    This is usually absolutely fine but this morning I copied and pasted my latest blog from wordpress into another forum and it was just a big block of text, I had to go through and format it by hand.

    Assuming this is a bug, can I roll back the latest update?

    Hi, I’m not sure this is a bug WordPress side, where is the target you are pasting content to? Can you paste rich content to other web forms, such as GMail email or Google Doc for example (or anywhere that usually handles pasted formatted text ok) to see if it works.

    Checking the Aztec info page, they do state:

    Aztec is not quite ready for posts where losing formatting would ruin your life. We’re still working out bugs and HTML synchronization between what you see and what ends up on the server is one of the areas we need testing for.

    So you may find additional info over on the GitHub issues page:

    or if you are sure it’s a new replicable bug, file a new report there for them to investigate.
