unhappy with the new photo preview in Reader

I don’t need help this is just an editorial comment.
WordPress: please fix the photo preview in Reader. For it now shows half the photo that
- you
choose to display and it doesn’t make me want to look any further at a post. Previous to whenever this was changed you chose a nice photo from my post and it was absolutely gorgeous and displayed the ENTIRE photo and not just the top half. Please, please, please, please fix this.

Periodically reducing the size of the displayed photo in the reader makes a nonsense of the authors intentions and the viewers desire to know if a post is worth a further look.
Why are you doing this ?

I’ve checked your blog and I noticed that you are not setting a Featured Image to any post.
Could you please edit your posts and select a Featured Image to them? This way you’ll be able to control what image Reader will use.

hmmmm. I remember having issues with that feature so I stopped using it. are you saying that’s why the images I’m seeing in Reader are the top third of a photo and not a nice image (the way it used to be)?
