Unicode quotes break cutting and pasting

  WordPress seems to be replacing ‘ (U+0027) with ’ (U+2019), this is fine for normal text but for source code causes problems since often it isn’t evaluated propperlly. For example copying the sourcecode hilighting tags from http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/09/03/how-do-i-post-source-code/ will result in them posted as plain text rather then hilighting anything, but changing the ‘ to a ’ works fine.

  This probally happens with double quotes ” (U+0022) with ″ (U+2032)

  Also backticks aswell, which break posting of bash shell scripts.

  I put mine in a text file and upload it through WordPress. Saves me headaches.
