Unintended spacing added between images after WP 6.7 and 6.7.1 updates.
-
The issue at hand is, when I apply a WordPress update to an existing install, unwanted spacing is added above and below images where no spacing is wanted.
The website is currently running on WP 6.6.2. All installed apps are up to date, and the installed active theme is Storefront version: 4.6.1. Image spacing is as intended. If I only apply WP 6.7 to this existing install, a space is added above and below images where there is no intended spacing. I reverted to WP 6.6.2, and layout is back to as intended. If I only apply WP 6.7.1 to the existing 6.6.2 install, again a space is added above and below images where there is no intended spacing. I again reverted to WP 6.6.2, and layout is returned to as intended, with no spacing between images.
Additionally, after applying WP updates 6.7, and 6.7.1, I have applied the suggestions from the following help page, with unintended results.Thank you in advance for help and suggestions on this issue.
