Unintentionally 'liking' my own posts
-
Hi, I’ve recently received three notifications that I ‘like’ my own posts. I did not click the ‘like’ button, but perhaps something else I do is triggering it. I’d be grateful if you could tell me how this could happen. Thanks, soundslikewish

I checked but can’t see of any reason for this to happen.
Not a chance you accidentally clicked on the like button? -
Hi, I’ve just checked with my husband whose computer I used on the weekend, and we’ve discovered the answer. I had logged onto WordPress on his computer and not logged out. So, when he, as one of my followers, received emails this week about my new posts, he decided to start clicking ‘like’. As it turns out, he could do this only because I was still logged on. And it came up as me liking me.
When he logged me out tonight, he found that he couldn’t ‘like’ my stuff any more, even though he is a follower. So we now understand that if he’s not a WordPress user, he can follow me but not like me.
Mystery solved.

Great, thanks for explaining! :)
You husband should signup for his own account, so he can like your posts too :)
