Unite Theme Carousel not displaying, photos in post not displaying

  Hi,
  for my new site, I installed the Unite theme carousel, used the code that is needed to install it into a template <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[image-carousel]’); ?>, but it does not display.
  I can get it to work in a page when i use the code to display it on a page, but for some reason the template code isn’t working for me.

  Also, the photos I added to my posts do not display in their categories or on the home page excerpts.
  Lastly, the posts are shown as excerpts in their categories instead of displaying the full text. The whole thing looks awful. I don’t understand.

  Thank you for any help on either of these issues.

  This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
