Unknown Charge

    I have a charge on my credit card fro $99.00 from WordPress. I have no idea what this charge is for. Can you please get me into contact with someone. The transaction number is: [redacted]

    Unfortunately, you failed to provide any details. Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

    What are the specifics please?

    I think that is the issue unfortunately, I don’t know what this would be tied to. The only account I use wordpress for is for a regional site that I update, but my credit card should not and would not be used for that account. I The account user ID I use is wrappd.

    I do not have any other affiliation with word press. Thank you for the information on the billing link. When I entered my information, it said that it could not locate the charge. I have opened a ticket, so hopefully they will be able to help me resolve the issue. Thank you.

    Hi there,

    The $99 charge is for a WordPress.com Premium plan and includes the domain wrappd.net. You purchased the plan last year and it auto renewed a few days ago. There is more information in your Billing History:

    Do you still need the plan and do you wish to keep the domain?
