Unknown link with unacceptable material

I just now noticed on my dashboard that someone clicked on tigerblog11.blogspot.com from my blog. I pay extra so that I don’t get unsuitable ads– in this case scantily clad women that are not welcome on my family oriented blog– so how could this have happened?

I typed the link in the search box and came up with nothing. I did the same with the title of the blog, “Traveler in Time,” and came up empty. But this doesn’t necessarily mean that the unwanted link isn’t lurking somewhere.

I’m panicked, as my blog relates to church and faith; and I don’t want yucky stuff on my blog.

    Can you help me, please?

    Thanks so much!!!

Like a tick on a dog I persisted. The email I got from y’all about someone liking and following my blog stemmed from the source, so I’ve deleted everything in spam and have checked that the unwanted comment did not show up on the sidebar.

Thanks for your quick response (email), but I’ve also learned that to be proactive is a very good thing.

  • Glad to hear this is resolved. We do quite a bit with spam, but it is a cat and mouse game. Everytime we proactively block in one way, they start using another.

Our goal is for you to never need to worry about spam, but we still have work to do. Have a great weekend and a Merry Christmas.

    Cheers!

Again, thanks ever so much. Just knowing that you guys are there to lend a helping hand and listen when something goes wrong is liberating enough to send me into “search and destroy” mode.

    You’re the best!

Oh, oh. And I love the snow!!!

    Merry Christmas!
