Unknown Payments/Deleting Accounts

  Hi,

  I am seeing charges from WordPress (last one $26 on January 18) and I can’t locate where on my wordpress account. Can you please advise where this charge is coming from and then how to delete this account all together?

  Unfortunately, you failed to provide any details. Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

  What are the specifics please?

  The account you are posting from is not the owner of any WordPress.com upgrades.

  Typically this happens because you ended up with a second WordPress.com user account at some point and THAT account is the one that was used to purchase the upgrade.
