    Why is this site in my profile? I’ve never heard of the site and never set it up. It is worrisome it appears under my profile?

    To clarify, you are not familiar with that site? The reason you see it listed under your WordPress.com account is because the Jetpack plugin (our plugin) was added to the site which is hosted at Hostgator.

    The Jetpack plugin adds our cloud-hosted services to WordPress sites with other providers, but if you wish we can break this connection, and the site will no longer be listed here:

    If you wish you can take the additional step of resetting your password, or closing this account entirely, which will purge all info from our system.
