Unknown user on my WordPress site

  I received the following email today:
  New user registration on your site:
  Username: wpuser_vtrzptbkovdw
  Email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

  Then I received a second one:
  Password changed for user: wpuser_vtrzptbkovdw

  Should I be concerned about security? If so, how do I address this?

  Hi there, it looks like your site is using the open source WordPress software hosted with another web hosting provider. You’ve posted to the support forums for free websites hosted by WordPress.com

  For help with a site using the open source WordPress software, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

  However, you should be able to turn off new user registrations in your dashboard at WP-Admin ->Settings ->General
