unknown username AND email address

Please excuse my naiveté. I find myself as manager of a local food pantry. Our website (hungerinc.org) was created prior to my tenure. I need to edit (wordpress) some text on our website in the name of accuracy but the creator’s (who is unavailable) username and email address are unknown. How can I learn this information and/or obtain editing access to the site?

Hey there, no worries. The site does not use our managed hosting, but we can point you in the right direction.
First, are you using hungerinc.org/wp-admin to log in? It should have a password reset option if needed.
If that isn’t working, your host may be able to help you make backups and use one of these recovery options:
