If I try to comment at a specific WordPress blog with my WordPress ID (skowronekthelark / (email visible only to moderators and staff)), I get an error message saying that I’ve got to post as (email visible only to moderators and staff). However, any login attempt fails. If I try to reset the password I am informed that there is no account (email visible only to moderators and staff). This keeps me from commenting at that specific blog. To my knowledge, I have no such account. Can you help me?

I’m sorry but Volunteers are unable to help you resolve this issue. Not to worry though, as Staff can view redacted email addresses and I tagged this thread for Staff assistance. As you probably guessed, I looked up (email visible only to moderators and staff) and that is NOT a registered WordPress.com account email. There is no WordPress.com user associated with it. You won’t be able to log in with that address.
I am wondering if you are currently logged in with the (email visible only to moderators and staff) address on another social media account when you try to comment here at WordPress.com. WordPress.com site comments allow you to use the following accounts/services when you leave a reply:
https://cloudup.com/ccZgbOCdzfGMy suggestion is to log into WordPress.com with your (email visible only to moderators and staff) account BEFORE you attempt to leave a comment. Then, you shouldn’t be asked to log in at all. You can log in at http://WordPress.com before commenting.
